Guess who is Two...

I can not believe how fast the time has gone. My baby, and yes he is my baby until the next one gets here, is now 2! We spent the day spending time with Parker, and then had family and a few of his friends over that night. Despite my pleaing, he was set on a Wall-e Party. So, since it was his day, Wall-e it was.

A picture of his cake!

Riding the carousel at the Zoo. Parker loves Penguins!

Look at that haul! And, I was so self disciplined this year. Really, I was! This is courtesy of Grandmas, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends, who love and spoil him way to much!

American Idol... Live!

Yes... we went, and we loved it! In all honesty, this is the first year that Bryce and I followed Idol. I think it had something to do with me being in my first trimester... and not in the mood for anything, except sitting in the recliner watching t.v. :) And of course, it did not hurt that we had a local on the show, which was a favorite to win it all. Yes, we are "Archie" fans. In fact, Kaylie is convinced that he is her future husband. I would not mind, our grandkids would be adorable. :) Ok, back on the subject... this was a great concert. I would love to go again. They all did a fabulous job. Now, it may be my bias, or the home crowd, but David Archuleta rocked that night. He was better then David Cook by far...
Posing with the Pop Tarts Sign!

Michael... I am still baffled that you can not hear his accent in his singing. It is so prominent when he speaks.

Carly... She Rocks!

My future son-in-law, and you have to admit... he is so adorable!

This is for you Kel! I tried to pass along your message... but about a million other women are offering the same thing! :)

We Did It!

Ok, so I am so proud of this milestone in parenting... Parker has officially moved from his crib into a " Big Boy Bed." Despite all the horror stories that you hear, he actually made this transition easily. Bryce and I could not believe it. Parker has a new "Cars Room." I swore I never would allow my kids to have character bedrooms... but I also said my kid would never have a runny nose in public... how quickly you learn when you actually become a parent. :) This is what he wanted, and so here it is. He loves it! Playing on his Cars Bed...

All tucked in for the night.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July to you all! I hope that it was a good one. Our family had a very relaxing 4th. We spent the weekend at my Grandparent's Cabin. Which Parker loves! Kaylie and Landon were with their mom, so it was just the three of us this holiday. Parker had a great time. It is so fun to live his excitement and enthusiasm!

Parker and his cousin Aubrey. He is always trying to hug and tackle her. At least for the picture, she is not crying...
Poppers... you know the little white things you have to smash to the ground to get a small "pop" out. Well, my kid digs them. Especially when he gets the "pop" noise. We all had to cheer. Most of the time he could not throw them hard enough to make the noise.
Oh, aren't we cute... yes, I am getting big! Trust me, I am the first one to know! :)
Parker and I doing Sparklers! He loved them too! I even let him hold his own! What a responsible Mom and Pediatric Nurse thing to do...

Remember the Alamo...

San Antonio, TX! During the last part of June, Bryce and I took a mini get away to San Antonio. We met up with one of my best friends, Summer, and her hubby Ben. I can't even begin to explain how badly I needed this! Despite the Texas heat, the trip was perfect, not to mention that we spent some time with two people we love! Of course what is a trip to San Antonio without a stop to the great 'ol Alamo. We also visited some of the Spanish Missions, spent a day at an awesome water park, and did some shopping. The nights we spent on the River Walk, which, I will admit, is incredible, despite being in Texas... (J/K Sum.) Both Bryce and I look forward to going back.

Bryce outside the church which was part of the Alamo.
Having dinner on the River Walk. Can you tell by how sweaty we are, even at night it was HOT!
Sum and I outside one of the missions.
Sum and Ben, and for those of you who know them, they have not changed a bit! They might as well still be in college! :)
The River Walk. It is lined with Restaurants and shops on both sides. It was a lot of fun! Good, good, food. But, if you want the good BBQ, go to Rudy's, which is not on the river walk.
